Cyber Security Engineer – Salary Range - $231K – $250K

RCT requires multiple cybersecurity professionals to conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking to assess and exploit risks and vulnerabilities in information systems. The goal is to provide senior decision-makers with actionable data for strategic decisions.
Job Description: The team specializes in penetration testing to identify and assess risks in enterprise cybersecurity systems. They document risks, test plans, and results, and analyze vulnerabilities. The team will also recommend improvements to system documentation, perform hands-on testing, and present findings to management. They participate in technical meetings and brief leadership on the status of action items.
Technologies/Tools Required:
Experience in cybersecurity or related IT fields
Expertise in penetration testing and exploitation techniques
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and virtual platforms
Skills in network security analysis and management tools
Experience with IT security architecture, risk management, and developing mitigation plans
Familiarity with enterprise systems, hypervisors, and complex Windows installations
Desired Skills:
Involvement in information security groups
Ability to communicate results to senior executives
Research and development of security policies
Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal direction
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Certifications (Desired):
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
Global Information Assurance Certification Penetration Tester (GPEN)
