Information Review and Release Analyst – Salary Range - $134K – $145K

RCT is hiring a part-time Information Review and Release Analyst (Subject Matter Expert) to support an Intelligence Community office in Herndon. The position requires document review, redaction, and coordination in accordance with EO 13526, FOIA, and the Privacy Act. Flexible schedule offered; occasional surge support may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and redact classified documents based on legal standards.
Use electronic/manual methods to apply redactions with proper justification.
Research past decisions for consistency and accuracy.
Identify and refer Other Government Agency (OGA) equities.
Collaborate on process improvement ideas and SOP changes.
Submit requests to internal teams for scanning/search support.
Assist with new team member training, if needed.
Deliver high-quality, timely work and contribute to team efforts
Mandatory Requirements:
16+ years of relevant experience in document review/redaction or in analytical IC roles with knowledge of declassification regulations.
Familiarity with FOIA, PA, EO 13526, and EOMDR.
Bachelor’s degree (can substitute for 3 years of experience); Master’s (adds 1 year).
Proven critical thinking, time management, and team collaboration skills.
Must hold active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph at time of hire.
Desired (Optional) Qualifications:
5+ years of direct experience with EO 13526 (or EO 12958).
5+ years of experience working FOIA or PA cases in the IC.
Background in training, process development, or working with clients on workflow improvement
Work Schedule:
Flexible 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Mon–Fri
Occasional after-hours support may be required for urgent requests.
