This role supports end-to-end software engineering and cloud architecture for mission-critical systems. The architect designs, builds, deploys, and operates cloud-based applications while also managing infrastructure, security, and operations across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications
Provide software architecture solutions and technical leadership
Manage and secure virtual and physical servers (VMware; Windows & Linux)
Build and operate containerized systems using Kubernetes
Implement automation, orchestration, monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory best practices
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and support help desk/JIRA requests
Maintain server racks, cabling, KVMs, and physical infrastructure
Required Skills:
Cloud application design and development (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Object-oriented programming (Java, Go, C#)
Front-end development (React, Angular, or Vue)
Linux development and administration (CentOS/Ubuntu/Rocky)
Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
Networking and VPNs (OpenVPN, Wireguard, IPSec)
Systems administration, monitoring, patching, backups, and security
Relevant Linux, Microsoft, or networking certifications
