Systems Architect - $235K – $254K
Reston, VASenior, hands-on Solutions Architect role supporting classified identity and access management (IdAM/ICAM) systems. Acts as the primary technical authority at the project level, translating high-level requirements into detailed, implementation-ready architectures while guiding engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day architectural decisions and support development teams
- Design detailed system architectures, specs, and integration patterns
- Bridge business requirements to technical execution
- Oversee DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containerization)
- Ensure secure handling of classified data (encryption, compartmentalization)
- Support authorization models (ABAC), authentication, and policy management
- Participate in design reviews and communicate with stakeholders
- Maintain architecture documentation and align with portfolio strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years experience (MS preferred) in systems/software architecture
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Strong background in secure, mission-critical systems
- Expertise in APIs, REST services, and enterprise IdAM/ICAM (LDAP, STS, etc.)
- Knowledge of A&A / RMF and secure system accreditation
- Experience with DevOps, cloud, and containerized environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
- AWS experience/certification
- Experience in IC/DoD environments
- BPM tools, cybersecurity technologies, and enterprise architecture exposure
