This position supports a government sponsor's Identity and Access Management (IDAM/ICAM) services. The administrator will help design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure in AWS, provide technical leadership to development teams, and ensure mission-critical systems remain operational. The role includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation (approximately one week every two months).
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical implementation and provide engineering guidance.
Administer and support Linux-based systems in AWS environments.
Perform security patching and system maintenance.
Support cloud-native service architectures and enterprise software solutions.
Maintain high-availability services, including LDAP-based attribute services used by numerous customer systems.
Collaborate with development, security, compliance, QA, and engineering teams.
Support DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree plus 11–15 years of relevant experience.
Expert-level Linux administration and strong Bash scripting skills.
IAM/IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, and attribute-management experience.
Experience with Tomcat.
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and requirements gathering.
