Automated Tester (Expert) - $154K – $171K

Senior/Expert Test Engineer supporting a large government technical development program focused on Authentication, Authorization, Identity & Access Management (IdAM/ICAM), attributes, entitlements, and digital policy management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, execute, and document software/system testing
  • Perform integration, functional, unit, and user acceptance testing
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Support testing in a DevOps/SecDevOps environment
  • Conduct testing after software deployments
  • Create test plans, procedures, reports, and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and investigate system issues
  • Work closely with developers, engineers, customers, and technical teams
  • Track and report test results and defects
  • Help improve quality-control and reliability processes

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph
  • 8+ years software testing and/or software development
  • BS + 11–15 years relevant experience, or MS + 10–13 years; equivalent experience may substitute
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Java
    • Selenium
    • SQL
    • Linux
    • JUnit
  • Experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
  • Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and independent-work skills
  • Experience working in matrixed/large technical teams

  • Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree
