Software Developer – Salary Range - $189k-$204k
Reston, VARCT is hiring a Software Developer to support a large-scale technical program focused on Entitlement Programs, Identity and Access Management (IdAM/ICAM), and Digital Policy Management. The role involves Java/Python development, integration with Large Language Models (LLMs), and working within an Agile/Scrum environment using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

RCT Systems offers:
- Develop Java/Python applications integrating LLM APIs
- Use Scrum methodologies to manage and build software incrementally
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs
- Utilize AWS infrastructure and tools
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree with 6–11 years of experience
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, Ruby)
- Experience designing system architectures and new features
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck
- Experience with AI models (e.g., GPT), prompt engineering
- Familiarity with LangChain or similar AI libraries
- Understanding of IAM concepts
- Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns
- Use of integration testing frameworks
- Technical certifications, open-source contributions, or continuing education
